Craftacular

Or, Knit a Sweater in the Month of November. I am a hopeless, ridiculous idiot for deciding to knit a sweater for Mr. Dame. He is a large man. Who likes plain sweaters. I am crankin’ stockinette in the round for all I’m worth.

It’s not much of picture, but it does illustrate what I’m up against. Keep a good thought for me, ‘kay?

It’s Eco Wool, with a secret inner hem of some Art Fibers Cheescake that was left over from another project. The pattern is EZ’s seamless hybrid (Rav link).

In other crafty news, I am very excited about the puppet theatre from Amy Karol’s Bend-the-Rules Sewing. Check out the flickr group of adorable projects. I am going to make this for the DameNieces for Christmas as part of the handmade holidays pledge. I went fabric shopping this afternoon, and came home with this:

The flowery one came up yellower than it actually is, but I can’t be arsed to take a properly lit picture. Also, I love DressSew. It’s so very chaotic. In addition to the PEEEEEEEEENK fabrics, I got some pink fringe and some extremely pink bias tape. The princesses are going to love it.
